The Mere, Knutsford Cheshire – Wedding Photography
The Mere is a lovely Wedding Venue just outside Knutsford, Cheshire. Inese & Kieran were so lucky with the weather on this superb October Day. It got better and better as the day went on, ending with some superb winter light. It’s such a nice time of year to be a Wedding Photographer.
I was joined for the day by the ever awesome Tom Arber, always a joy to have along. His unique eye brings a real contrast to the moments I pick out. In wedding photography circles I often see professionals seeking out “second shooters” that use the same gear as them and shoot “the same style as me…” I never really understand that. I’m already there, why do I need a 2nd me? I want and welcome a different view on the day, and Tom shoots in a way that is different but yet somehow fits in well with my own work. There are always moments we have both shot in totally different ways. I love that.
It was a great day, and everyone had such a good time. Especially the children, always such a shame when kids are banned from weddings. Here it was the total opposite and the ball pool and photobooth at the end of the night were a hive of kid related activity. Including the biggest plastic ball fight I’ve ever seen at a wedding!
